SIRE: Derwydd Peruvian Huaman
DAM: Jolimont Peruvian Akiko
SHEAR WEIGHT 2004: 10.5 lbs

DESCRIPTION: Aries is one of our super stars from our 2000 male cria crop. He has a strong correct frame, wide chest and handsome head. He has amazing fineness to his fibre. Aries is one of our Huaman sons. Huaman has produced nothing but the best for us, and we expected the same from Aries. He has added an amazing staple length, luster and silky handle to all his offspring. When bred to color Aries seems to produce fawns, although he has also done some fantastic whites as well. We have a few fantastic Aries offspring in our program and they are now producing fantastic cria.

Saku, what can we say, this guy is nice! Big solid correct frame, gorgeous head and wow this guys got nice fibre. He is super dense, with a long staple, tiny bundling, great crimp, soft handle and super luster. His sire Kytano is a power house for adding density and length to his offspring, he is a son of our Tamarack Jack and his dam is from Illimani. Combine those genes with Shakia who herself had amazing bright crimpy fibre still at 16 and you get nothing short of incredible. Shakia had another male cria from Kytano who is staying on the farm as we unfortunately lost Shakia in 2007. She was an original Jolimont girl with most of her line remaining at Windy Ridge. Saku's first cria have arrived in 08 and they are exceptional, gorgeous heads and incredible fibre! And his 09 crop is even more impressive, lots of length, crimp, high density and an unbelievable bright lustrous shine. Saku is a 5th generation Windy Ridge made male, his genetics are long time proven and the quality of this line speaks volumes.

WRA Peruvian Rhocco

WRA PERUVIAN RHOCCO

D.O.B: June 15 2006
COLOR: Light Beige
STUD FEE: $2500

DESCRIPTION: Rhocco is the first son for Santos & Rhainon; we have been pairing these two up for years now and have had a number of incredible female offspring. Rhocco is a big guy with exact conformation and that famous Santos head. He is dense with gorgeous bright shiny lustrous fibre, the kind that looks like silk. He has good crimp, small bundling, long staple and a super silky handle. We have Rhocco's full sister Rhaynee in our program; she is one of our best young females. We do have a lot of Santos son's in our line up so Rhocco is one we have added to our sales list, but if we have an opportunity to use him this summer we will.

WRA Nayvatu

WRA NAYVATU

D.O.B: June 9 2006
COLOR: White
STUD FEE: $3000
SIRE: ARA Mario
DAM: WRA Peruvian Nayneika
SHEAR WEIGHTS: 2009 Shearing 13 lbs (blanket/neck/thigh)
STATS: 2009 AFD 24.6 SD 4.4 CV 18.1 %>30 8.9%
DESCRIPTION: Nayvatu is our first Mario son. He is a big solid correct handsome male. He is a fibre machine, high density, long staple, small bundling with nice crimp. He has a super soft bright fleece, very consistent from neck to butt. Nayvatu's dam is a Huaman daughter from a Pauco dam. She has 5 cria from Mario, all incredible. The one thing we just love about Mario is his ability to pass on such lovely fine handle and brightness to his offspring with extreme density. He also is passing on very low medullated fibres. Mario himself is still at a percentage over 30 of 4.2% at 7 years of age with a total percentage of medullated fibres coming in at 2.3%. His genetics mixed with our super Pauco/Huaman combo's are creating something extra special on our farm. Nayvatu had his first offspring summer 09 and we could not be happier, both males and both very impressive. Nayvatu is a power house of superior genetics and has proven he has what it takes to be a great stud.

WRA Peruvian Neichauco

WRA PERUVIAN NEICHAUCO

D.O.B: 05/21/2006
COLOR: Light Fawn
STUD FEE: $3000
SIRE: WRA Peruvian Aries
DAM: WRA Peruvian Neika
SHEAR WEIGHTS: 2009 Shear weight 11.5 (blanket/neck/thigh)
STATS 2008: AFD 22 SD 4.7 CV 21.5 %>30 5.2%

DESCRIPTION: Neichauco is a fantastic male from two of our best lines. He has a big frame, exact conformation and a gorgeous head. He has a very dense fleece with long staple length & small bundling. Nice crimp and a very nice handle, very consistent in character. Neichauco has 3 full sisters here on the farm (6 full siblings in total) and siblings working in other programs. His dam is a Pauco daughter and his sire Aries is a Huaman son. This particular combo of genetics work so well together that we pair these bloodlines up as much as we can on our farm. Neichauco has his first cria on the ground, super nice. He did throw fawn when bred to a fawn female, so those looking for a superb fawn male this is the guy.
