Jolimont Peruvian Pauco was the first Full Peruvian Male to breed in Canada. He was owned by Windy Ridge when he came to Canada and he lived a full & productive life on our farm.
Pauco is very dear to us, he made our breeding program & programs across Canada what they are today. Pauco became an exclusive male only breeding our own females and a few of our clients. His genetics were also available from some very amazing sons and daughters he sired for other breeders when he first arrived in Canada.
We still have a few original offspring from Pauco breeding on our farm as well as many grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids. Through these incredible alpacas Pauco's legacy will live on.
He was once referred to as the "Hemingway of Canada" by a top US judge and breeder who saw the impact Pauco had on the Canadian Industry. He was a male who contributed greatly and left his mark not only as a strong breeder but also as a wonderful & gentle alpaca. He will be missed.
